EXAMINATIONS, AWARDS, TESTS AND PROMOTIONS
We have regular Unit Tests covering all subjects and Report Cards are issued. The Annual/Final Examination is held in March. The time table for all the tests and Examinations is notified well in advance.
Pre-Board for classes X and XII will be held in December and January.
Promotion results declared are final. Hence parents should not expect undue consideration and thus aid their children in their bad application and indifference towards honest effort. All decisions are made after very careful consideration in your Child's interest and that of the school.
It is important to note that promotion of your child/ward to the next higher class depends on his/her overall performance during the entire session. It is, therefore, essential that your child/ward takes all Tests and Examinations and completes all the assignments on time.
Answer Scripts of the Unit Tests and Preliminary Examinations are sent home through your ward for your study and signature. Please ensure that as parents/guardians you study and sign these Answer Scripts for the better development in Academics of your ward.
To merit promotion a child must get at least 40% aggregate in each subject in all classes. To obtain a Merit Card, a child must score above 90% in a subject without any fail mark or any absence in the Report Card.
Any child who fails for a second time, (that is consecutively two years in a row) in any class, will not be kept in school. It is our experience that in such an instance, for the welfare and well being of the child/children he/she should seek admission in another school.
